In refrigerated boxes so they don't die. I don’t imagine that businesses would go through so much trouble for such a small market. Lobsters are another story. We love Red Lobster Except for the live lobsters floating in the tank in the lobby

I mean I assume flan is growing her own broccoli and veggies to FRESHLY PICK those immediately before consumption since suddenly she's a food snob. lol And, she must be milking her own FRESHLY MILKED cows as well. Not to mention growing, picking then squeezing her own oranges every morning! Can’t stand broccoli Or orange juice Ever heard of a FARMERS MARKET? Oh ok lol. You don't really know where they get their produce and meat. You only THINK you know. But, no, that's not AS FRESH as growing and picking it immediately

It is just a regional dish. I can’t see how blue crabs could be transported very far considering that they have to be kept alive. In refrigerated boxes so they don't die. you have no clue what you're talking about. you buy hand-picker, refrigerated/pasteurized crab meat. it can sit in your fridge for months. the "good stuff" (back fin or jumbo lump) is $30-40/lb when not on sale. when it get's close to $20/lb, i grab a can. i seriously doubt there are many "crab boils" held where you live. guess if you were ultra-RICH you could get live crabs overnight on ice, but can't even imagine what that would cost. absolutely out of YOUR budget, for sure, and would KILL me and any other person who appreciates good food to see/hear what you would do with it.

In refrigerated boxes so they don't die. Not the same as FRESH CAUGHT from the sea And not everybody can live near the ocean this is why they buy as near fresh or frozen fish to begin with.
