 Good afternoon all. Way overslept this morning, fell asleep early but on my sore ribs so woke up in a lot of pain. Finally fell back asleep around 3. But all the animals are fed and happy and it's the weekend so I am going to relax. Think I will try making sloppy Joes tonight, I've never made them before. But how hard can it be? Anyhoo, that's my exciting day. Hope you all have a great Saturday! |

Afternoon peeps! Still feeling a bit under the weather but the sun is out and it's a beautiful Fall day with a crips breeze and temp in mid 50s. Not much on the agenda for the day. Just putzing around doing daily chores. I plopped a beef roast in the crockpot and the house smells wonderful. Can't wait to dig into a hot roast beef sandwich smothered in gravy.

 Good morning / afternoon my friends. I hope you are all having a great Sunday so far. Overcast, cold and raining here. But we desperately need rain so I'm not complaining. Hasn't rained in 60 days here. It may change to snow later, not really sure. Turned the clock back this morning and that helped cause I needed that extra hour. Finally done with all the animals and having Grits and coffee. No real plans for the days, if it keeps raining the dogs will have a walk free day. Hope you all have a great Sunday! |

 Good afternoon my friends! I hope everyone is doing fabulous today. Finishing my coffee then we will walk the dogs. After that I will change into my "Outlaw and the Hillbilly' shirt, put on my MAGA hat and go vote. Best thing about this little town of 3,408 people? I have never ever seen a Clinton, Biden or Harris sign or hat, LOL. The voting place is about a mile away (our bank) and last week I counted 24 Trump signs in that mile. Anyway hopefully this is the last day of campaign crap and life will get more normal. Thinking I will make Beef Barley Stew tonight. If I get home in time. Other than that, just another day in Paradise. Have a GREAT day gang! |

 Good morning/afternoon my friends. It's a beautiful day here, cold but bright sunshine. Woke up to 30F. Short night too. Watched the Election until 2am and went to bed very happy. As I suspected the people did not buy mainstream media and the fake news. But enough of that. No plans for the day, just going to be a quiet one. Think I might make boneless country ribs today. Put them on low and slow. And I need to cook for the dogs, but that's it. Hope you all have a fabulous day! |

 Good morning all! In a rush this morning. Millie and Boo Boo have to be at the vet at 11am so I'm getting to my coffee and here before we leave. Cold and overcast today but no rain or snow yet. Not sure if any is predicted. Have zero plans after the vet which is how I love it. Might make pizza tonight if I get to making my dough in time. Hope you all have a fabulous Thursday! |

Want to find a recipe for dinner that uses puff pasty later. I bought some the other day and need to use it so I'll be searching through recipes later.  Good morning my friends. It's a lovely one here, a bit cool but bright sunshine. Finally got all the animals done and am sitting down to some much needed coffee. No walk for the girls today. Millie had a bad night. The growth on her foot was bothering her a lot yesterday and last night. We skipped her afternoon walk as well. She goes in tomorrow to have it remove. Fingers and toes crossed it is a benign growth, my heart isn't ready to deal with anything else. No real plans for the day, just the usual. Laundry, cooking and a bit of cleaning.
