Good morning! It's a beautiful start to the day with full sunshine and a temp in the low 50s. I'm just sittin here enjoying my cuppa and watching the morning news. I'm trying to let it sink in that I am now a Great Nanny! Yes, dear Granddaughter gave birth last night and at 10:22 pm our little angel girl made her appearance into this crazy world two weeks early. The cord was wrapped around her but both momma and baby are doing well. That's all the particulars I have for now but I can't wait to go see them! The cycle of life has brought me to tears. I remember when they put dear granddaughter in my arms when she was born and now, she's a MOM! WOW!

 Good afternoon all! Finally finishing my morning coffee and getting ready to take the dogs out for their walk. Lovely day here, woke up to a bit of rain but not near enough. Now the sun is out and we have blue skies. In the low 60's just like I like it. No plans for the day, just going to see where the day takes me. Hope you are all having a wonderful Saturday! Just Me, congratulations on being a great Grandmother!!! |

Good morning! It's a pretty nice day here so far. Started out in the mid 40s and has already warmed up to the low 60s. Sun is playing peek-a-boo and a slight breeze winds up now and then.
Nothing on my agenda for the day. Just sippin my cuppa and watching the morning news for now. Just have a few household chores to accomplish and then who knows.

 Hello my friends! Man is it windy out today. The wind is just howling and blowing leaves everywhere. The outside cats love it, they chasing them all around the yard. Speaking of leaves they are falling fast, some of the trees have already lost all their leaves. Another week or so we'll be seeing the lake. No real plans for the day, hubby will probably watch football and I'll play online. I like lazy days. Enjoy your day my friends! |

watching Iggles/Browns... tied 13-13 with about 10 minutes left.
warm but no humidity. starting tomorrow, more fall-like weather... big FROST possible/probable by end of the week. will have to bring in a few houseplants before then.

 Good afternoon my friends. Busy morning here. Woke up and it was only 40F so I decided it was time to wash all my winter clothes and move the summer stuff to the walk in closet. So I am doing that in between all the animals. No we get to sit down and have breakfast and coffee before the girls want their walk. Going down into the 20's F tonight so need to make sure all the heated pads in the outdoor houses are working. Other than that no real plans. Going to make Lasagna for dinner and if I have time some Soft Pretzels. So that's my day. Hope you are all having a great day so far! |

 Good afternoon all. I hope you are all having a great day so far. Mine has been busy as usual. 3 loads of laundry done and all the winter clothes out and summer clothes put up. It was in the 20's last night and is 45F right now. Fall has arrived. We've had frost and freeze warning so I think the wildflowers are on borrowed time. No plans for the day, just going to see where it takes me. Think I'll make homemade chicken soup for dinner, we'll see. Have a great day gang! |

No real plans for the day, need to cook for the dogs and already have my pizza dough ready for pizza tonight. Next will be walking the dogs. The girls will be telling us it's time any minute now.  Good afternoon my friends. Yep broken record time. It's a beautiful day, a little warmer, in the 60's and still windy. At this rate the leaves will be gone in a week. No plans for the day, will be walking the dogs shortly then I need to get my boneless ribs on low and slow. Also need to cook for the dogs, they are out of chicken. So that's my day.  Good afternoon my friends. I hope you are all having a great Saturday so far. We actually had a tiny sprinkle of rain today. Not nearly enough and only lasted a few minutes. We haven't had rain in 45 days now. And now wildfires are beginning to break out upstate. Zero plans for the day, got my chicken for the dogs cooked and next I will put a pot roast in the crock pot. My 8 year old oven decided to die once again. This will be the second time Hubby has had to replace the main control board. Our oven in NY was 30 years old and worked like a charm. Oh well, thankfully he knows how to replace the board and I don't need the oven anymore today. Enjoy your day my friends and don't forget to smile and laugh. |

 Good afternoon everyone! Running late as usual. But it's a beautiful bright sunny day so I don't mind. Finally getting to have my coffee and catch up a bit online. No plans for the day, hubby replaced the mother board and touch pad on the oven so that is all working again. Made a pot roast yesterday but wasn't quite tender enough so we will have it today along with mashed potatoes (or Polenta), spinach and a salad. And that is the extent of plans for the day. I'm just going to veg and watch youtube channels. Have a great day gang! |

beautiful weather. I think I have brought in every houseplant that would be in danger of COLD night. and, luckily, forecast isn't predicting a hard frost yet.
