 It is a beautiful start to the morning. Hope the day finds you well and happy! It's only in the mid to upper 50s currently but we have full  !!! Finally!!! The windows and doors are open all the way. Feels so good to have the sun shine in and fresh air moving about in here. Supposed to get to the mid 70s.
Nothing on the agenda currently. Just sippin my cuppa, watching the morning news on news nation and waiting to see how the day unfolds. It's the first of my four days off so I'm not in a hurry to do anything but relax.

 Good afternoon all. Chilly here today, only in the low 50's and I am loving it. Had to get the shorts back out, long pants were too hot. Getting ready to take the dogs for their walk then I need to look at recipes and come up with dinner. I have Argentine 'Bon Bon' Sausages so want to see if I can come up with an interesting way to make them. Other than that no real plans. Little bit aka Roscoe is doing great and becoming a real love bug. His favorite place to be when out of his cage is on my neck and shoulder. He doesn't roam free yet, needs to get a lot stronger and bigger but he loves cuddles and kisses. Have a wonderful day my friends and for my friends in the South, please know I am thinking of you all. I just heard FEMA is out of money because they gave 650 million to Migrants. And Biden/Harris have given $106 Billion to Ukraine but our own citizens get $750 bucks. Sorry for the rant but I am so sick of Americans being taken care of last in our own country. |

 Good morning my friends! I hope you are all having a great Friday so far. Beautiful one here, we had frost last night. Today bright blue skies and sunshine. Only in the high 50's at the moment but should get a bit warmer. Have a pork shoulder I want to smoke so I need to get it on before too long. Had it marinating all night so it's ready. Other than that just the same old stuff. Walking the dogs and a bit of cleaning. Enjoy your day everyone! |

 Hello my friends. Boy did we oversleep this morning. Didn't get up until 9am. Cats and dogs overslept too. So now I'll be running behind all day. Just now having coffee! No real plans for the day, need to clean and work on cats. We have a few that have knots that need to be combed out. And hubby will be watching football so I'll be around. Have a great day gang! |

Hey y'all. I took an unintended extended break. Not sure how much I'll be around but figured I'd pop in and say hi.
Working towards a new normal in life. Had 2 more deaths in the family (maternal grandma and father) in the time I've been gone plus my son's hamster died. I have grief fatigue and I'm over death. Bleh.
Hope everyone here is having a pleasant time in life.

Kitten #2 is doing a bit better so fingers crossed. Kitten #1 has gained a whole pound so we think he is out of the woods. Have a great day gang! |

 Good afternoon my friends. Another busy morning and just now sitting down to have coffee and catch up. Hubby wanted brunch so he is making sausage and eggs and I made some biscuits. It's another lovely day, tons of sunshine and cool weather. Getting ready for the dogs second walk after we eat. Other than that just the usual, cooking and some cleaning. Have a great day gang! |

 Good morning my friends. Finally got up a bit earlier this morning. Dogs heard something around 7 and started barking. So we just got up. Nice not to be rushing for a change. It's a lovely day out, in the 60's and sunshine. No real plans for the day. I need to cook for the dogs and I 'might' make Jambalaya for dinner, not sure yet. Other than that just a quiet day. Hope you are all having a good one. |

 Good afternoon my friends. Running late as usual but finally having my coffee. Another beautiful but warm day. Last of them I think. Tomorrow it will be in the 60's and after that to 50's with lows in the 30's and 20's. Yay!!! No plans for the day, just the usual here. I ordered some blankets for the outside cat houses so when they come we will replace the insulation and get them ready for winter again. I used to try and wash the blankets but it's not worth it because they really smell. So I ordered them bulk from a place online. 24 blankets for 80 bucks. All the houses are under our sunroom and have heated pet beds in them. We use the insulation and blankets to help keep the heat in. Our winter lows can be -30F at times. So anyway I'll be around to play. Have a great day gang! |

Afternoon! It's a beautiful day with tons of sunshine. Temp right now is 67 but awoke to a 34 temp. Brrrr I actually turned the heat on last night. I was hoping to wait until November but it was a bit too chilly in here so . . .
I'm told the northern lights were visible here last night but I totally forgot about them and never went out to see. Maybe I'll try tonight since it's possible still tonight.
Went to work today even though I'm supposed to be off. They were shorthanded and texted to see if I would come in for five hours so I thought why not. Am home now, obviously, and wondering what to make for dinner. Nothing is appealing to me yet.

I'm trying to let it sink in that I am now a Great Nanny! Yes, dear Granddaughter gave birth last night and at 10:22 pm our little angel girl made her appearance into this crazy world two weeks early. The cord was wrapped around her but both momma and baby are doing well. That's all the particulars I have for now but I can't wait to go see them! The cycle of life has brought me to tears. I remember when they put dear granddaughter in my arms when she was born and now, she's a MOM! WOW!
Anyway, I hope y'all have a fantastic day!
