 Good morning all! Moving slow today, no pain or anything just a bit tired for some reason. Need to get busy though because Archie has to go to the vet later for a blood test. We had to delay his chemo a day because if his platelets aren't back up they can't do it. Hopefully it will be ok and he will have chemo tomorrow. Another hot, humid and stormy day here so not much planned. Have a great day gang! |

 Good morning my friends. I hope everyone is doing good and staying cool. Yep it's a hot one here today again and humid. Finally having my coffee and catching up online. No plans for the day which is what I love. I think the tree guy may come by later, we had a tree snap in a storm a few days ago and it's too big for us to do by ourselves. Need to cook later but tonight his Bacon cheeseburger night so it's an easy one. Have a great day gang! |

did/doing about nuthin! disgustingly hot. waiting for severe t-storms thought not holding my breath that the weather guys are better at forecasting than i am. going out on patio with a few jugs of water for my thirsty "garden" was exhausting. may take some more out before it gets dark.
does Irish Spring soap really deter tree rats and other garden vermin?

 Good morning/afternoon my friends. Finally getting to sit down and have coffee and catch up. Busy morning with animals and stuff. It's cooler today but humid so we are keeping the AC on for the dogs. It was a long night. Archie had a rough night which meant we had a rough night. He couldn't get comfortable and was huffing and puffing all night long. No plans for the day, think I'll make Burbon chicken tonight, not sure but that's the plan. Have a great day gang! |

Spent the day in Minnapolis at the Emergency clinic. Not good news. Archie started coughing up blood this morning. They think his bone marrow has stopped making platelets which means it is a matter of days before he has a bleed out. We will take him for another test next week to see if there is a change but I really fear his days are numbered. She was not optimistic at all.

 Afternoon all. Late saying hello today. Been researching stuff for Archie. For those that don't know, his platelet count is not coming back up and they fear the bone marrow has stopped making them. If that is the case then there is not a lot of hope for him. But we aren't giving up. We are researching possible drugs to help. Our confidence in the ER Doctor was very small. She just seemed to think we should say our goodbyes. Other than Archie, not much going on. Not much desire to do anything either so I think it will be a very quiet day. Probably a hamburger night.  Good morning my friends. I hope you are all doing well. Didn't get much sleep last night, just kept thinking of Archie. He passed away so suddenly. But that is a blessing because he did not suffer. We will now focus on his sisters and give them lots of extra love. No plans for the day, just going to sit and do nothing Have a great weekend gang. |

 Good morning my friends. I hope you are all having a good Sunday so far. I'm finally sitting down to have some coffee and catch up. No plans for the day. It's going to be a hot and humid one so we'll probably stay inside with the AC. I need to cook for the dogs, now that it's just the girls I can go back to making stuff with veggies added. When Archie got sick he wouldn't eat that so I stopped. The girls will eat anything. LOL. The picture below is in honor of our raccoons. We knew mama had babies and yesterday she and dad showed up with 5 babies. Sadly they ran before I could get a picture. Need to make something for us humans too, I think I'll make a Mexican casserole. I love things I can make early and put in the oven later. Have a great day gang. |

 Good afternoon all. Moving slow this morning so I'm running a bit late. Millie is due for shots so we will take her at 2:30. We may take Allie too because she has never, ever been left alone. Millie or Archie always stayed with her when one had to go somewhere. I'm not sure how she's going to react. If she freaks out we will bring her along. Other than that no plans. If I can get my dough made I'm going to make a Detroit style pizza tonight. |

 Good morning all. 2 hours of animals and now finally having my coffee. May try and finish weeding today but not sure. It is in the 90's already and we are under severe Thunderstorm warnings and a possible tornado later. The weeding may have to wait until it cools off a bit. Enjoyed the Olympics last night, the swimming and diving was fun. Not sure what is on today but I'll be watching when I can. Have a great day my friends! |

 Good morning all. Animals are all done and finally sitting down for coffee. Had a lovely thunderstorm during the night but thankfully no strong winds. That is a relief, we've had enough tree damage. Archie's ashes are coming today and I'm crying just thinking about it. It's going to be an emotional time. I miss him so much. But life does go on and we are focusing on the girls now. No plans for the day, might finish weeding if it doesn't get too hot. Have a great day gang! |
