 Hello everyone! We had a wonderful 4th, our little small town sure knows how to celebrate. The parade was so much fun and the food was delicious. We ran into some friends and ended up staying a lot longer than expected. Today we are just relaxing, I'll make Grilled Whiskey, Pineapple Chicken a bit later. Hope you are all doing well.

Even though I work from home I took the day off for the holiday. Will be heading out later to see the family again. Hope everyone had a good 4th.

Bec I love your picture. We had a lovely 4th but it was hot. Today we are relaxing at home. Hubby has the day off so he's doing some things in his workshop. Later we will go sit outside in the shade. I think tonight will be taco night.

 Well hi again, after a brief vacation I am back. Surgery was yesterday and sad to disappoint some but I survived.  All things considered it wasn't that bad of a day. The nurses and staff were all so nice and helpful. Got there at 9:30 was in a room getting changed and stuff by 9:45. Surgery started at 11:30 and I was home around 5. They gave me heavy duty pain killers Oxicodine but so far 1 Tylenol every 6 hours is working fine. Hubby is helping out with the cats and stuff so all is good. Today I just relaxed and watched poor hubby do all the litter boxes. I can't sit on the floor or bend so it's gonna be his job for a few days. Fortunately he doesn't mind. Hope to get back to normal in a few days we will see how it goes. |

 Good morning all. I hope you are all having a great start to your day so far. Woke up feeling a little queasy but feel fine now so that's a relief. All things considered I feel really good. One Tylenol every 6 hours has been more than enough. No plans for the day, need to figure out dinner but that's about it. It's going to be nasty hot in the high 90's and humid so it will be an inside day. outlaw, yes I can drive. I'm not supposed to pick up anything over 15 pounds. Which rules out all of my cats. LOL Hope you all have a great day! |

 Good morning everyone. I hope you are having a great Saturday so far. I'm finally getting to have my coffee and catch up a bit online. Hot (98F) and humid here so I won't be doing much outside today. Not sure what the day will bring but I'm thinking it's a homemade Pizza night and maybe ribs tomorrow. Gotta go get them and thaw them out first. So that's my day which means I'm going to be lazy and will be around to play. Have a great day gang! |

not a hot today (by degrees) but still horribly humid and unpleasant outdoors. weather guys/gals have been LYING to us. have been saying chances for heavy rain and t-storms, but ground is still dry and rock hard. i ran a few errands and then retreated into the AC.

 Good morning my friends. Well I woke up this morning and thought it was 8:30 so I jumped out of bed. When I got to the kitchen I realized it was 6:30 LOL. Oh well got all my work done real early this morning. We had a storm blast through last night, took down a tree on the side of the house. And the wind picked up our neighbor's boat lift (they were having their boat serviced) and carried it all the way down the shore to our place. It is now sitting there upside down. It was a wild hour or so. No plans for today, going to make ribs and pasta salad later but that's about it. Too hot and humid to go outside. The dogs run out to do their business and run back in. My heart goes out to President Trump and those killed and injured yesterday. So sad to see what our country has become. But, life goes on and so will we. Have a great day gang! |
