Had fun at the food shelter. I volunteer a few times a week to cook. Today we made two big pans of cheesy chicken rotini, chicken black bean casserole, tuna salads, chicken salads and other stuff. But it was hot even with the AC on. So now I'm having some ice tea and cooling off.

Archie did great. Gained a pound and his blood work was the best since he started chemo. His platelets didn't even drop this time.

Morning all. Heading out for the morning. Picnic was lovely yesterday. Just the two of us spending time together. I'll stop in later once all the work for the day is done.

Got the laundry done, chicken is marinating for dinner tonight. Now I need to clean house but having some coffee first.

 Good morning everyone. I hope you are doing well. It's a beautiful day here but we have the AC on for the dogs. Archie is having another bad day with his leg. We think it might be the pain meds they gave us. They are a generic brand, so Nick called the vet and is going to go get the real Rimidyl and see if there is a difference. No real plans for the day, need to do some cleaning and make pizza dough. Never made a pizza the other night so might do it today. Popping in to see what's happening but now I need to run. Things to do today, if it's not too hot I will weed my garden and flower beds. Bec hope Archie starts feeling better soon!

 Morning everyone. It's a hot one here in Atlanta but it's summer so we deal with it. Just started washing the bedding and next I need to go outside and finish weeding the garden and flowerbed. @droopy, welcome. I love your avatar. LOL

 Hello my friends. I hope your Wednesday is going well so far. I'm dragging a bit, Archie had a really bad night. Pain and crying. We changed off from the Generic Rimadyl to the brand one and it seemed to help a little. He's a bit better today but we are trying to keep him quit and still. No real plans for the day, need to figure out dinner. Tomorrow I will make ribs on the grill and at some point in the evening watch 1776 the original musical. It is my 4th of July tradition. Have a great day gang and remember to smile and be happy. |

 Good afternoon everyone! Over slept this morning and now I'm running late. But it's a rainy 4th and we have no plans so I don't care. Have to cook for the dogs and then later I'll get the ribs on for us humans. Archie seems a bit better today so hopefully his muscles are not as sore. trying to get psyched... and off my butt... to go water my "back 40"... potted garden on my patio. no water access out there, so have to fill/haul jugs of water. have picked several nice tomatoes off bucketed plants. thought onions would work well in containers... not so much. temp has gotten to 900... so far. have a few of the teeniest, cutest little cukes growing up wire cages. herbs/greens have been a bit of a bust.
