Elodie, oh what a wonderful surprise! I haven't done anything today. Well laundry...Just no energy today so I just vegged. Tomorrow is an hour drive to St. Cloud for a 15 minute pre-op at 12:30. Annoying but it gets me one step closer to having this all over so I'll do it.

 Morning, and wow has it been a productive one. Got to our neighbors at 5am. They are a few miles away but she hasn't been feeling well and yesterday her husband twisted his knee. So Mike and I pitched in to help get the cattle milked and fed along with the other animals. Got home and did the same thing here with our animals. Made hubby a big breakfast and now we're going back out to clean the barn.

Long day in St. Cloud but home now and cleared for surgery on the 10th.

Home from a wonderful few days in Houston. We had a wonderful time. We had dinner at an absolutely wonderful restaurant and the play was amazing.

 Hello everyone. Busy morning so I am late sitting down to my coffee. Had to cook for the dogs and then the hospital called. Drives me nuts, they have you fill out a questionnaire online then call up and ask the exact same questions all over. But surgery is set for 9:30am next Wednesday in St. Cloud. I will be so happy to have it done and over. Not sure what I'll be doing today. Need to get a brisket marinated for the smoker tomorrow and figure out dinner but that's about it. So I should be around to play. Welcome back Elodie! Have a great day gang! |

Stopping in for a short visit before making husband and our 'ranch hand' lunch. Today is clean out the house day. Taking one room at a time, moving everything out and cleaning. One room a day is my goal.

 Afternoon all. Running around a bit. Had to get my Brisket on the Ninja Smoker Grill. I ordered a special blue tooth thermometer but realized it wasn't charged so doing that now. I can always put it in the brisket a bit later. Fingers crossed this one comes out good. I don't have a lot of success with Briskets. Other than that no real plans. Archie is having a bad week. The cat scan made him really sore and the new chemo has had a bit of reaction. Not wanting to eat and tired. But today he seems a bit better so fingers crossed he's over the worst of it. The Vet said if there was a reaction it would be between 3 and 5 days but should last more than a couple of days. It is cool and breezy out so I think I will open the windows and get some fresh air into the house. Have a great day gang. I'll be around when I can. |

 Good morning my friends. Finally getting to have my coffee and catch up a bit. Archie seems better today which is a relief. He isn't limping as much and had a good breakfast. No plans for the day, think I will make pizza for dinner so need to make my dough in a bit so it can rise. Other than that, just have to cook for the dogs and enjoy the day. Which means I'll be around. Have a great Sunday everyone. |

 Good morning my friends! I hope you are all having a good start to your day. It's windy here and looks like we may get storms rolling in later. We will probably close up the house and put the AC on. Archie has to go for blood tests this afternoon but it's with our local vet so it's close by. No plans for the day other than Archie so I'll be around to play. Probably sit outside before storms roll in. Sure beats watching TV all day. Have a great day gang. |

Hubby just came in from the barn and said "Let's go down to the lake for the afternoon. I can load up the BBQ and Ice chest onto the Mule." So I'm packing up food, blankets and grabbing my camera. Nothing better than a spur of the moment picnic at the lake.
