Let the dogs out for a bit but it's hot and humid so turned the AC down to 70 an brought them in. They are loving the AC always had short-haired dogs... dobermans & rotties. when temps got to this nasty level, they would be sprawled out on the tile floors. |

 Good morning all. Finally sitting down to coffee and my computer. Long morning of chores today. But animals are done, dogs beef is cooked and the chicken is in the oven.So now I can sit for a few minutes. Not sure what the day is going to bring. Need to clean and do laundry, then I'll go from there. Have a Brazilian Beef Picanha Roast for dinner so that will go on the Ninja grill tonight. Enjoy your day gang! sounds like you have a great outdoor kitchen. is it under cover, in case it rains/snows? |

It's pretty light so easy to move. |

 Good morning everyone. Boy I am finally getting to sit down and have coffee. It has been one long morning so far. Got all the animals done, then got laundry in and cooked for Archie. Millie and Allie too but they will eat food warm or cold. Archie has now become picking and wants it freshly cooked. But he's worth it. Busy week too. Archie goes to the city tomorrow for a scan and chemo so it will be a long day. Then Thursday we go back to St. Cloud for my pre-op. Have to drive an hour for a 15 minute appointment. I told them I could do a pre-op here but noooo they want they want the office visit ($371 bucks). Our medical system is run like our current government. All they want is money. But I digress. No real plans for the day so I'll be around to play. Have a great day gang! |

Afternoon all. Hubby is out mowing the lawn and I'm fixing dinner or getting ready to. Bec, that is ridiculous that you can't go see your local doctor for a pre-op and yes it is all about the money. I'm glad you have good insurance so you don't have to worry about medical bills.

Wow it's been a while. Hubby and I took a wonderful vacation to Korea for a month. Thankfully one of our hired hands and his family stayed at the house to take care of the animals and our sons helped out as well. It was a fun trip but very glad to be home.

Got up at 5am, left the house at 7am and just got home now.. 6:30pm. Archie did well but his scan showed that one of the spots had doubled in size, but the mass on his other leg was the same and there were no new spots. So they changed do a different chemo.

Morning all. Checking in from Houston. Got to the Post Oak Hotel yesterday and it is just beautiful. Had an early breakfast with my husband now he is off to meetings so I'm going to go shopping. Mike made me promise not to buy out every store. I had my fingers crossed. Boots and jewelry are top of my list. I'll pop in later if I can. Enjoy your day everyone.

 Good morning all. I hope you are all having a good day so far. Yesterday was a long day. Was up at 5am, got to the vet at 9. Archie had a scan and chemo so we didn't end up leaving until 3:30 then a 2 hour drive home. Sitting and waiting all day is tiring. So today not doing too much. Cooking for the dogs and us humans but that's about it. It is hot and humid today so the dogs will stay inside in the AC as will we. @grimreaper, have a great time in Houston! My brother is up from North Carolina this week so we're headed over to my daughter's place for pizza, wings and some cut-throat ping pong.
Poor guy thinks that he can beat me!

Back at the hotel, bought way too much stuff but I don't care. Hubby will be done in an hour or so and we will go out to dinner somewhere. Such a lovely and friendly town.

 Hello my friends. Finally getting to sit down and say hello. Another hazy and humid one one here. Looks like storms may roll in as well. No plans for the day, other than cooking. I started working on organizing the walk in panty yesterday. Bought racks for cans so they roll forward when you take one. Also got some clear containers to put stuff like rice. Made a dent in it yesterday but might do some more work on it today. Or I may just be lazy. Elodie, that beach is lovely! Have a great day gang! |

My husband just blew me away. We were leaving our room and instead of going down he hit the up button on the elevator. When I asked why he chuckled and said because we aren't going home yet. He changed the tickets to a flight in the morning, got us a beautiful suite AND tickets to Fiddler on the Roof tonight. When I asked him why he kissed me and said 'Why not?' This man is a keeper.
