please, please, please put that "tagging" thing in here so we can at least distinguish a bit who we are talking to!? would make it so much easier to decide who need a "beyotch" SLAP!!

I am not really sure how to do that yet! I have never set up a board before! I did add some new themes to the board for you to check out. I will have to look into the tagging.

I can help kids in the lower grades
They’re so much fun
One of my favorite times was when a kindergartner raised his hand and said politely
“Miss Teacher my computer is broken.”
When I got there I discovered the lad had 23 tabs open
23!!
He swore that he hadn’t touched ANYTHING

I sub at a school system that has 6 elementary schools
The server they use can’t keep up with the volume of children trying to use the same program (Typing Instructor) at the same time
I’ve even spoken to the head of IT

once had a student who was literally about to throw her computer out the 2nd floor window. she was in a 1st semester basic computers class (around 1995 pre-internet & email) tha cover sort of an intro to Word, Power Point, Excel and Access. assignments were saved on disk so instructor could tell right away if the precise directions were followed. she was close to SCREAMING that she was not doing all her work over but that it was GONE. somehow, she had managed to highlight the 1 page word document she was working on and changed the font color to WHITE! she had a doc on the white screen typed in white!
