Heavy blowing snow, 16°, yikes.
What a nasty morning.
The cat bolted for the door when I opened it to let him in.

Just got back in from feeding the chicks.
I would guess about 8 inches of snow so far.
Got the kitchen stoop swept off, dry and fluffy.

Home from work. What a dreary day. Rain early this morning and hasn't stopped yet. Supposed to turn over to ice then snow. UGH After the way my day ended today, I may take tomorrow off and let whoever makes it in fend for themselves. These young kids don't have a clue how to behave in the workforce. I hate it.

I don't doubt it. Any tips for quick de-icing that won't crack my windshield? Spray Windex on your windshield, let it soak into the ice/sleet/sludge and them use your ice scraper; it should come right off.. I don't own an ice scraper. Don't even know what it looks like. It's not worth it to buy one since this is an issue so infrequently. Windex is easy enough to get. Does it have to be name brand or does generic do the trick?

I was thinking of getting some of that for my side mirrors in hopes the claim it helps with visibility in the rain is actually true. How often would I need to apply it to keep the ice off?

I use Windex on mine when it comes up, but most generics should work alright.

We had more than 36 hours of steady rain. Then it sorta tried to change to sleet but didn't manage to accomplish that until just before I left work. Roads were good, pavements iffy. Temps are falling like a rock, down to 26 o right now and going to single digits tonight. Things are gonna freeze big time, roads will be a mess. Glad I'm home and off the weekend. In my fuzzy, comfy loungy stuff and settling in for the weekend. emoji2 Hope everyone's home, safe and warm.

Yep, we're good here.
Haven't left the property since Monday.
We ended up with about a foot of snow.
Sunny this afternoon.
Cold tonight, 6°
Big snows are best seen from inside the house, lol.
