 Good afternoon my friends. I hope you are all having a great Friday so far. Finally getting to my coffee and catching up a bit online. No plans for the day really, need to decide on dinner but other than that just going to enjoy the day. It's warm and humid out but not too bad so I'll probably be outside for a bit. Just Me, ugh! Put that horrible day behind you and have a great day! Hope you can all enjoy the day. |

 Good afternoon all. Another busy morning. Was on the phone with the vet. They never got the original email. But they finally got a look a the picture of Snoopy and want to see him. So we will do a drop off tomorrow morning and she will check him in between appointments. Also have a 'wellness' doctor appointment tomorrow at 1. I love my doctor but I am tired of seeing the medical profession. Ugh. No plans for today though. Going to make pot roast for dinner. I was just in the mood for it today. Anyway, that's my day. Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday! I love this picture. |

 Good afternoon my friends. Was overcast this morning but now the sun is out and it is getting warm and humid. NOT my kind of fall. But I walked with hubby to look at the wildflowers we planted and they are really coming up and one kind is starting to bloom. No real plans for the day, need to do some stuff around the house and cook but that's it. Have a great day gang! |

made a quick trip out to run a few errands. SUMMER is back... at least for a few more days. I woke up to the AC kicking on. it's a few minutes past 3 and a little over 85 degrees. doubt it'll hit 90 and will most likely cool off once sun starts setting.
I noticed some trees starting to think about changing the color of their leaves. lots of maples of all kinds. once they have fully turned and start dropping leaves (late October), all the leaves will be on the ground in just a few days.

Our trees are beginning to turn but I think it may be a bad year for color. They seem to go right to brown and fall off.

Our maples started turning a couple weeks ago. They're always the first. The rest are still green, thankfully.

 Hello my friends. Looking to be another warm and humid one here today. Rushing a bit so we can walk the dogs before it gets too hot. It's football day so hubby will be watching and I'll be playing online and or cooking. Is it too soon to wish football was over? LOL. Have a great Sunday everyone! |

 Good afternoon my friends. Yeesh is it hot and humid here. Yesterday was 90F and felt like 99F. Today feels to be the same, ugh. But next week the highs will only be in the 60's! YAY! No plans for the day, cooking for the dogs right now then will decide on dinner for us humans. Not sure what that will be but I'll figure it out. So that's my day, just going to see where the day takes me. Have a great day gang! |

 Good afternoon my friends. I hope you are all doing well. Strange day here, overcast and looks like rain one minute then the sun comes out. Still humid and warm but Friday that cold front arrives. I'm so looking forward to that. No real plans for the day, think I might make a grilled flank steak for dinner so I need to get it marinated soon.  Hope the day finds you well and happy.
It's a great start to the day here. It rained last night along with lightning and thunder after midnight. Today, full sunshine, a nice cool breeze this morning and a temp now in the upper 50s with a high later in the mid 70s. Yesterday got the normal daily chores like dishes, making the bed, etc. done and then the vacuuming and cleaning the bathroom done. Today could be laundry day . . . maybe. Other than that, just sittin sippin my cuppa and watching the Sunday morning programs.

Just got done push mowing the places I can't get to on my riding mower. Today think I am going to be outside a lot with this great weather I am having and drink some beers and do more yard work. For dinner I am finishing up the left over roast beef dinner I made in the slow cooker the other day. Got a ton of papers to burn in my outdoor fire pit but its just to dry for out door burning. Says we might get some rain starting about 5PM today. Sure hope so. We need rain. After dinner a shower and then a movie. Hope to watch a horror or spooky movie.
