At home, I drink my well water from the tap.
At work, I drink filtered water from the water cooler. Sometimes I will grab a bottle of water if I can’t make it to the break room for a fill up.
When I am out, I sometimes grab bottled water.

Tap water. I was raised on it and it didn't do me any harm. Although, I do have a Pur pitcher in the fridge. I use that occasionally. I'm vehemently opposed to water in those plastic bottles. Why? What’s wrong with the water?

We will bring a case of bottled water when we stay in hotels because it so expensive to buy there. I will drink from tap, but have gotten sick from it even when staying in the U.S. And that was 30 years ago.
At home, we have water in the refrigerator door which is filtered. Before that, I had a Brita. I have been drinking filtered for 25 years before it was fashionable. It just tastes better. But I am not afraid to drink from the hose or faucet if it's more convenient.

We have a filter on our fridge and one before the water gets to the fridge. But do have have pretty good water. on empty bottle we clean them then put in about one third of water and freeze. Then we go somewhere we fill it all the way up and cold water to take with us.

Then we go somewhere we fill it all the way up and cold water to take with us. my dad liked to golf. when he was still working he "found" a carton of lab quality plastic bottles... pints or whatever the metric equivalent would be. he would take 5-6 of the bottles, fill about 3/4 full of water and into freezer. they went into an insulated "lunchbox" that hung from his golf bag. Sci Sec... almost everything is effected by heat and cold. things expand in heat and contract in cold. water is about only thing that first contracts and then expands as it reaching freezing point.

I worked with a guy who used to bring a huge plastic water bottle to work which was frozen. As it thaws throughout the day, he would drink the thawed cold water.
I used to keep a plastic water bottle in my car that I would refill until a doctor friend of mind told me the heat caused the plastic to leach in to the water I was drinking. Now I carry stainless steel water bottles.

i like double walled (metal or plastic) bottles/containers. leak-proof so a tip over doesn't mean a dribble. a screw on lid, not just one that pushes on... so a drop or tip doesn't make a puddle.
i would fill container with iced all the way to top before heading to school. would fill with water after i gt there. a good bottle container would still have ice when i got home. the ones shaped like an actual bottle are cute, but too tedious to fill.
