I was raised Catholic
Attended a Catholic grade school for 8 years

Taught Sunday school
Both of my sons were baptized and made their First Communion

I didn't ruin anything. I just said I wouldn't discuss it with you. You don't debate respectfully so it would certain end up an insultfest. I don't think that's right for a religious thread.

i'll consider any religion with something that resembles the 10 Commandments. doesn't have to be those 10. may be more or less than 10. must include something like the "golden rule". must include thou shalt not kill, or steal. lying... a bit tougher... there are fibs and then there are LIES. lying to protect someone..... might be ok. adultery & coveting?? though my divorce (Many years ago) was not contentious, part of me sometimes thinks that "scarlet letter" thing has merit... think final scene of Quentin tarantino's "LB"!

i will admit guilt on most things but not gonna "confess sins" to someone clearly just a peer.

i think when we die... just the beginning of the next thing.

I think The Golden Rule is pretty much all that we need

any religion what wishes death on any who isn't of their religion... can have 10 golden rules and they're not for me.
