... on air fryer.
have had one (from Aldi) for a few years and have decided I need to use it more.
I have come to the conclusion there are too many buttons and options... that's just my opinion.
i'd use it more often if all I had to do was select a temp and time. I really don't need a setting for chicken and a separate setting for fish.
would love to find a chart that just lists the food item, the temp and how long to cook. know where to send me?
ETA: oops? never mind! as soon as I sent this, I'd did a simple Google and now have LOTS of choices to print out!
will change my thread to... if you use an air fryer, do you use setting specific to what you're cooking or do you just use a time & temp?

Oh hell no. I just turn it on and let it go till it's done. lol
Can we get some new innovation in microwaves? Can't those be streamlined? Too many buttons that I never use!

I have the Emeril 360 French Door Air fryer and I like it. I use the bake option all the time even for bagels and bkfst foods. Right now it's on air fry and making my meatballs. Love the Rib setting too. Hit it and forget it. As for Microwaves I only use it to heat something up. But the other day I forgot to thaw hot dogs out and I saw a 'Turbo defrost' option. I used it and the hotdogs were thawed but not cooked in 1 minute.

I don't like reheating things in the microwave. EX: reheated pizza... becomes rubber and flabby when HOT and rubber like a tire when you're eating it. "they say" the best way to reheat food is how it was cooked in the first place. pizza, MAC, etc... originally from the oven so reheat in oven.

The best way to reheat pizza is to warm it up in a pan on the stove. No need to drag out the air fryer. I have a small kitchen, so my small appliances are all in the pantry. I have to bring them out as needed so it's much easier to pull out a pan. Cast iron works best but any large flat-bottomed pan will work' or a small one for 1 or 2 slices.

I just wait until I can start to smell it.

Too many buttons that I never use! first microwave I ever had was a Christmas gift from husband... 1971. he worked for GE and got a big discount. the only setting was a dial where you set the amount of time. everything cooked at the same speed/power level, it didn't have a "carousel", so you had to turn food throughout the cooking process. it was big and HEAVY.

I use the vegetable steam button on the microwave, and will reduce power to 50% when using my rice cooker in it. Otherwise, I just use full power and a couple minutes to heat up leftovers. The air fryer is good for reheating french fries, too. And I've done the pizza reheat in all three, and usually just go with my toaster oven. Put it in, set the temp to 350 and when it beeps telling me it's reached 350, I know the pizza is heated up enough.
