Have you ever served on a jury? If so what did you think?

I've never sat on a Jury but I did sit in on a Rape case for my Criminal Justice class in College. It was very interesting to listen to.

I have been summoned to jury duty twice. Both times it was canceled. And I'm glad it was.

Summoned yes but dismissed each time. The didn't seem to like my thoughts and crime and punishment much.

never been on a jury, though have received notices several times over the years.
worked at a Philly college where a lot of the students were studying to be paralegals or court reporters. arrangements were made to do a mock trial. with a REAL (retired) judge... Lisa Richette. she had a bit of a reputation... think she thought she was "all that" as a younger woman and was a bit of a Judge Judy in later years.

they tell you how important you are to the case. then pay you next to nothing to do it.
