starting to see ads for this more often. do you (or have you) used bar shampoo? conditioner? like it? hate it? meh? recommendations? brands? prices? ETA: i'm not talking about bar SOAP... but shampoo/conditioner in BAR form.

I usually use shampoos from Yves Rocher, an online beauty product place. They have some wonderful lotions and stuff.

Nothing fancy for me. This is cheap but it works good.

As a kid I used fels naptha soap occasionally on my hair. I haven't used bar soap for my hair since then.

my grandmother always had Naptha soap... she called it brown soap. if/when i would get a case of poison ivy, that's what she'd give me for the bath tub.
i bought bar shampoo and conditioner from Temu. have discovered it makes shampooing hair a ONE hand ordeal. no need to deal with slippery bottles of shampoo/conditioner. that's my only observation so far.

I use sulfate-free shampoos to help prolong my hair color. I do have a bar of sulfate free shampoo bar that I have tried but I can't get a good lather. Can't from liquid shampoos either but the liquid is a little better.
