Good guess but Nope, the answer is: In 1954, Schulz introduced “Charlotte Braun” to the Charley Brown cast as a loud-mouthed female character (a role Lucy would later inherit). Readers disliked Charlotte, and she appeared only about 10 times. When a reader complained about her disappearance, Schulz wrote a letter with a drawing of Charlotte with an ax in her head.
