It is a playbook for Socialism. They created a horrible economy with high prices and inflation. Then she blames greedy companies, price gouging and Capitalism. Her solution? Control pricing and what Companies can charge. That is step One. Step two is to take over what Grocery stores and other stores can charge and put them under the Government. She has admitted this is her plan. Ask Cuba and Venezuela how well that works.

Vice President Kamala Harris will propose the first-ever federal ban on “corporate price-gouging” in the food industry, her campaign announced. Harris will also pledge that if elected, she will direct the Justice Department to increase scrutiny of potential mergers between grocers and food producers. The ban is part of a broader effort by the Democratic presidential nominee to respond to voters’ ongoing frustration with the high cost of meat and groceries.

Price fixing violates these antitrust laws. How about enforcing antitrust laws and break up these monopolies?

I watch a youtube channel about a man that finally got a visa to come to the US from Cuba. What he described there is what Harris wants to do here.

In Cuba it is illegal to sell beef. Only the Government can sell or buy it. Most Cubans buy it on the Black market or eat pork or hot dogs. Lines for food can be hours long at stores. Seven has been the age chosen by Fidel Alejandro Castro and maintained by his brother Raul Modesto for Cubans to stop drinking milk. Every ten days a Cuban child under age 7 receives 2.2 pounds of powdered milk for the price of 2.50 in Cuban pesos, about 10 cents in US dollars.
