Having visited both Texas and Minnesota I can totally understand them being #1 and #2. Once out of the cities both have amazing scenery. I am also not surprised California is so low. Just too many people everywhere.

We loved traveling thru CO and Ark. We lived in Texas for 9 months, traveled a lot on weekends. Didnt like LA at all. The highways were rough and narrow.

I love Florida as well. A little hot and humid in summer for me, however. I really like the desert air.

I lived in Florida for a year. Now granted I was in Jacksonville which is not one of the best places, but I was happy to leave. Even when we were down in Port St. Lucie I enjoyed it but don't think I'd want to live there. Probably because I'm not a fan of sand. LOL
