once got a fancy, glossy, big post card advertising a summer ski sale. i set it aside because i intended to go. had it tacked up on work bulletin board in my office as the date got closer. the card admitted me to the 1-2 day pre-sale. if you didn't get a card, you had to wait to get in with general public. here's the typo. the card got you into the PRIVATE sale... Otherwise you had to wait for the PUBIC sale!
