I saw some "ugly" Americans in Paris. They weren't rude or demanding, they were just loud. To me, that's not ugly, just boisterous.
I don't have any desire to visit certain parts of the Middle East. NY and MI are off my list for now because of the crazy governors and their crazy laws.

I wouldn't visit Chicago any time soon. Too much violence occurring and although it's mostly gang related it would be too easy to get caught in the crossfire.
