Our Wal-Mart has all kinds.
We don't really do that but I just happened to walk down that aisle yesterday.
It was mostly full.

I bought out all the ones I could find. We do a lot of canning with all the veggies coming out of the garden.

Speaking of Mason Jars, they sure would be handy for the cremated as well!
Now, see how I bring these threads full circle!

I don't do any canning. But I like to use mason jars as food storage in the fridge or for other things. I have been making overnight oats and those are great for that. I also take a salad to work every day and I love the little 4 oz jars for my dressing.

Canning my veggies, making salad dressing (add ingredients and shake), to help peel hard boiled eggs for deviled eggs (add a small amount of water, shake, and the peel practically falls off), to take liquids in my lunch (water tight seal), to store bacon fat (in the frig), for holding nails or screws, to keep popcorn fresh, for little homemade pudding or trifle desserts, to make fancy drinks. There are probably more uses but that's what I have used them for.
