My family is big into Board games. My oldest son is like the Board Game Master. He collects board games now. Played a bunch when we visited. King of Tokoyo, Sushi Go, Find Planet X, and Everdell. We have a great time with board games. And, the more complicated the better at times!

We were Monopoly, Sorry, Clue, Scrabble. But then we started looking and found Catan and other games that are more complex. That really opened up a whole world of games. It's become our big family past time to find and play new games.

I play with a bunch of old people who like uncomplicated games. We play more card games than board games but I love to play both! There are some simpler games. SushiGo is cute and simple. It's a card game. We also like play games where you "debate". Trial by Trolley is fun. You lay down a series of cards and one person is the train conductor and you argue over which side he the conductor should run over, lol. I mean, you need people who like debate and are willing to do that in good fun. Secret Hitler is a fun game and you have to be sly and also debate and then ultimately you try to find out who the Hitler is execute. Apples to apples is a good party game that is fun and not involving quiet thinking.

"apples to Apples" can get really silly, but that's the object of the game. random question, random answers, strangest one wins.

I used to like Monopoly.
I like Scrabble. I like it a little better online because I can play with the words more. I have a long history of playing Scrabble with Phoenix both online and offline.
I play Apples to Apples a lot. I also like Balderdash.

My family loves board games. When the grands were little, we played all kinds, along with card games. Now, we pretty much stick to cards or monopoly. Yahtzee, Uno and Zilch are ones they like alot too. played "crazy eights" with kids at school. got to the end of the first hand and a student said (finally)... hey, this is Uno without the skip/draw/reverse cards. most HS don't know enough "stuff" to play any game based on trivia.

We played Sorry with my little (great) niece last night while babysitting. She loved playing with the grownups and kicked our butts.
