weather-people are saying NJ is probably headed into it's first "heatwave"... 90 0 or hotter. I think today should be a non-AC day... like past 2-3. sounds like that trend is coming to an end. makes me a skeptical about reincarnation or previous lives (KIDDING). I NEVER would have survived in an era/time before AC!  |

 Good morning fabulous people! I hope your Tuesday is off to a good start. It was 55 last night and we had all the windows in the house wide open. It was wonderful. Today it is supposed to go up to 90 so I'm pretty sure we will put the AC on. Dogs do not do heat and humidity well. I have a friend in Minneapolis that has a Berner. She wears sweatshirts in the summer because they keep the house at 60 for the dog.  I'd do that too but hubby puts it at 66. No real plans for the day. Need to cook for the dogs and us humans. Just have to decide what I want to make. Other than that? Just living the dream. Have a GREAT day gang! on dogs and heat. there's a guy my my complex with a BEAUTIFUL husky... this must not be its favorite time of the year. sil/bil had a husky/Shepard mix years ago. she LOOKED like all husky... down to one blue and one brown eye. they got "stranded" (stayed over) by snow one weekend at our place. with a flash light, we could just barely make out her black nose as she snuggled into that snow under a pine in backyard... we had to MAKE her come inside! |

In the low to mid 80's today and in the mid to upper 80's tomorrow. Clear blue sunny skies. Just looked out and this is what our sky looks like. Not a cloud to be seen.

Just turned the TV on. We're under a severe thunderstorm warning. Ran the channels found zero things of interest (and we have 200 channels), settled on the weather channel on mute so I don't have to hear it. Don't know how people have a TV on all day and night. But that's just me, I take after my mom. She called it noise.

We had a wild night with rain, wind, hail and tornado watches. But thankfully no damage and since the house was closed up Archie didn't freak out this time. Today is looking to be lovely. Justbec , hate to even mention it, but no mosquito bites YET this season. now I'm sure to get sucked dry by the unofficial state bug of NJ!? heat is heading up... AC is back on. NUTHIN much going on. just a few errands to run and then back into do-nothing mode. nothing to be done that can't wait till some other time... to paraphrase Scarlett O'hara.

outlaw for some reason the first mosquitoes of the year I have an allergic reaction to. They swell up and ooze. Later in the season they don't bother me.
