Our first flowering tree is opening this morning.
2nd 76° day in a row.
Have seen the turtles sunning on the pond banks too.

Been working on a riding lawn mower seems like a week but think it has only been 2 or 3 days. One more part ordered and if it doesnt fix it i am going out and shoot it right between the headlights.

It was a spectacular day here in NEPA! 73o on my way home from work at 1:00 p.m. I still have doors and windows open. It's currently 65o. Rain is expected tomorrow. I'm hoping it's not an all-day rain. I'd like to get out in the flower garden and clean some of it up. I'm seeing all my bulbs with three to six inches of growth already. YAY!

My daffodils are happily blooming and all my iris are sprouting up. They never go completely away here. I always have green in the flower beds. |

Not a fan of iris though. Winters here are just too harsh for anything other than pines to stay green all year. Last year I planted a couple of Happy Face White Potentilla and a couple of Yellow ones as well. I also planted five Double Play Doozie Reblooming Spirea. I'm seeing new growth on the Happy Face plants but not the Spirea yet. The other ones that are popping up now are different alliums, tulips, snow drops. I'll buy a few annuals to border it all with soon. Temps are still fluctuating between freezing and 40s at night though for now. |

Our daffodils are up along with the hyacinth and grape hyacinth.
The Amur honey suckle have some leaves already.

Well it was a long, long, long last week. I love it when people break things in their homes and people have been quite generous about that lately. Did a portrait photography gig for Saturday and then Sunday the wife wanted to pick blueberries and got enough until Christmas I picked so many! And today Monday back to the grind with dinner almost ready.

Came down with a head cold yesterday.
Took a shot of that overnight medicine and slept well.
All stuffed up again today.
Pouring rain outside but quite warm.
Good day for naps and movies.

Feel better, @x. I'm still trying to kick the phlegm from my last bout of bronchitis a couple months ago. And, on top of that, my allergies kicked in. UGH!
Just glad the workday is over and I'm home comfy cozy relaxing trying to decide what to have for dinner while I'm eating chocolate chip cookies. hahahaha

Feeling better today, didn't need any cold/flu meds.
Nice to be able to think again.
Strong winds and rain, about 45°F.
Didn't leave the house today.
Did move the beds and bookcase and vacuumed underneath.
High excitement for sure.
