The OP is ridiculous. I find the arrogance of conservatives to be quite irritating. You're wrong about everything. More than 600,000 people have died because of conservative leadership. We were beating the pandemic but because conservatives refuse to get vaccinated, we're seeing a virus comeback. And you know it's bad when the right wing governor of Alabama is pissed off at people who refuse to get vaccinated. Then we see how the right has the nerve to joke about white supremacy. Of course white supremacy doesn't exist if you are white. So the OP is just another example of right wing cray cray. I am not and have never denied the seriousness of covid. When we locked down initially in March 2020 I supported that. We didn't know what we were dealing with. The lockdown was not to make covid disappear. Any one with a brain knew that it wasn't going to magically go away. The point of the lockdowns was NOT to stop covid from moving through the population. A virus is going to do what a virus does. The point was simply to delay it a bit and hope that hospitals didn't have patients lying in gurneys in the halls. We did so well with that in fact, that our local hospitals LAID people off during the outbreaks since there were so few cases. Then Govt realized, Ooooh we LIKE to control people, this is the schits! So, they moved the goalpost from "2 weeks to slow the spread" to trying to pretend we can eradicate covid. Sweden didn't lock down and go through all of this and now they basically have herd immunity and are faring better than most other parts of the world. As for vaccines, I am not in any way Anti Vax and it is interesting how MANY liberals can't be bothered to get a yearly flu shot which is also quite deadly to the elderly and some flus were far more deadly to children as is covid. If I was covid naive, meaning i have never had covid, then I would seriously consider the vaccine though with reservations. However, since I had covid, I have read many studies that it is rare to acquire it a second time, that if you do get it a second time it far less serious and there is lasting immunity. Therefore I do not think I need to take the vaccine. That is my personal choice supported by the science. |

At this point, the BS about "delta" is a lot of BS. Hospitals are not currently testing for "delta". Only a small sampling of tests are sent to the State run labs that can even do Delta testing. So, if you think you are going to walk into an ER and get a covid "Delta' test, you are very misinformed.
As for delta, it seems more infectious but is far less deadly
And can you wake up to the fact that the common cold is also a coronavirus?

The more the govt wants to THREATEN and bully me about the vaccine makes me think there is a reason i should NOT get it. And at this point they are so invested in being "right". Even now after the vaccinated are acquiring covid and even becoming sick from it. They minimize other data and are constantly trying to instill fear into all of us. At this point there is little to fear. Yes, be cautious. Wash your hands, be smart. But, it's time to take off the masks and resume life.
