There should be a universal size for women's clothing like men have.I bought 3 pair of pants in three different sizes .But when I laid them on top of each other they were the same size!lol.Other clothing items are the same way as is footwear! It is quite maddening!

Mens' wear has the same problem.
I have three shirts from different companies, 1 L, 1 XL, and 1 XXL... all with the EXACT same physical dimensions and they lay atop one another in perfect match (except the collars, one is a V-neck "T", one is a "golf shirt, with collar", one is a standard "T")

Try, try, on those clothes before buying.
Size standards have gone out the window.

can anyone explain how someone could be a size ZERO?? When numerical sizes have no relationship to actual dimensions... it's easy. ZERO is "whatever the smallest produced size is", then the next up is "1", and then "2", and so on, and so forth.
