Based on mere anecdotal evidence, message boards that were ran by conservatives (ex. here, DYBT) tend to be more accepting of opposing views than boards ran by liberals (ex. MGJ). Have you had a different experience? That's not just true of message boards. That's true of life, generally. Conservatives (and centrists too) are simply more willing to listen to opposing viewpoints than liberals are. |

You have to walk on eggshells to not get banned on some of these liberal boards. I joined one and all was fine until the harrassimg posts and pms started.I turned people in and got them banned for also stalking me .The regs on the board didn't like me fighting back and ruining their games at all. They started pulling all sorts of nasty tricks like making nasty posts and I would turn them in and they would delete the posts!One gal made it her mission to constantly dog all of my posts and threads and get her minions to follow suit and take things out of context and get the threads locked or moved.And the admin would pm me and complain and literally cuss me out because she would be swamped with pms complaining about my posts or threads.I lasted one year on that board and was banned right before the Trump election in 2016.I had no warning and only found out after being gone one weekend .It was an open board so that was how I found out.I was always being accused of spamming,cramming ,not talking about my family or throwong them under the bus for board fodder.And I never talked about whereI lived or health issues. |

The irony is that I am speaking of boards that you were banned from. yeah, i find that quite ironic that even the liberals won't put up with her! LOL. Usually they protect their own! |
