A lot of stores here still do require masks. Some people won't shop there because of it and others feel more comfortable shopping there because of it. At least people have the choice as it isn't mandated any longer. unfortunately, i will not be surprised if stricter mask requirements are right around the corner... because of those ho just haven't gotten vaxed yet and this whole "delta variant" thing. I agree. I see that coming as well. Timing is everything, and it will be around election time. Yes, October might be bad. It is flu season after all.

I used to like Fauci. I met the guy. My kids met him. He seemed nice. But he did botch the AIDS epidemic. And he botched this one. He's a bureaucrat and hasn't been in a lab in years. Well, he's walked through, but he hasn't worked in a lab. That's a fact. And I believe, truly believe, he has a financial interest in Moderna. And that's from reading his emails which were released. All 3,324 pages of them. And yes, he approved gain of function funding. That's also a fact. But in his defense, which I hate defending him, he probably relied on his "people" when signing and had no clue was he was approving.

I'm too young to remember the polio scare. But I heard about it from my parents. i went to school (K-12) with girl who had it. she was a twin and it left her with one leg about 3" shorter than the other. she had to wear a brace and shoe with a huge thick sole, but she never let it hold her down. went to college with a girl who had it... again affected her leg/foot but not as noticeably. one leg was ever so slightly shorter but the difference was n her foot... she wore something like a 6.5 shoe on her good foot but other foot was about 3 sizes smaller. only really noticeable if feet right next to each other. she had to stuff the toe of smaller shoe but it would still eventually turn up. those who wore the same size shoes would take turns wearing her loafers to flatten them out.

My high school BFF had an uncle who had polio, his right leg was just about useless. Didn't let it get him down, quite the happy guy. Lived to be 91

on upper arm, up near your shoulder. if you have one, you know why you have it. on nj101.5 they were talking about forced vaccinations. from the little shared on the radio and the whole article, all i can say is OMG! www.npr.org/2011/04/05/135121451/how-the-pox-epidemic-changed-vaccination-rulessome places are saying no vaccination; no pay. some places are saying no vaccination; weekly testing. your thoughts?? It was called a before first grade vacination. We all had to get it before entering grade school. It was mandatory.
