i know i can change the font soze within a post i may make.
is there some way to bump the font size up a size permanently, just for me?

Go under Edit Profile. Settings. Scroll down to Forum Theme. There is a couple of choices there that might be better for you. I would like the font a big bigger as well as I have eye issues |

You could always zoom up the screen.
In Chrome use [CTRL] + [+] (both keys at the same time) to make everything bigger and use [CTRL] + [-] (again, both at the same time) to make everything smaller.
