@x , what's "wood break"?
my "to do" list includes getting taxes done. AARP does FREE tax prep/filing. volunteers and retired accounting and tax prep pros set up shop in libraries. i called... was first told no appointments available but then... wait! there were a few cancellations! getting my taxes done tomorrow at 11:30.
ETA: remember the good old days when the tax preparer did all his work in pencil. then you had to give him a day or so to check his math and make the final version. you then physically put the return in the mail and waited 6 weeks or so for a refund check. whenever i owed anything (no matter how little), i would wait until 4/15 to write a check and take it to the post office to assure the IRS didn't get my $$ until absolutely necessary.

We had an ice storm and have been cutting and piling wood from the damaged trees. We took a break after doing this from morning till night for a couple of weeks. 'Wood break', lol. Anyway, the jobs done and we're waiting for the right conditions to burn the huge pile.

Empty the compost bin and get the veggie beds ready for planting. I still have a couple weeks though before frost danger will have passed.

I need to make breakfast, do laundry and put some decals on the Jeep. I have zero drive or ambition to do any of it. It's overcast, windy and chilly out. UGH!

Need to plan my Sunday dinner. Ham, homemade scalloped potatoes, baked sweet potato, green beans, homemade rolls, and salad i make with a sweet and sour tossed dressing. Not sure for dessert yet. Might just pick up a pie or something
