I liked ABBA. I still enjoy their music. Maybe it reminds me of a time in my life when things were much simpler.

We took the boys to see the Beach Boys at Wolf Trap two years ago. It was fun but I saw them when they were all still alive and that was better.

I said I understood they had a lot of loyal fans and I respect that but it doesn't change the fact that I find them sugary and annoying and hope they don't make my ears bleed if forced to listen. Only heard them on the radio and that was all. |

Never was a fan and to me they were just a flash in the pan! "a flash in the pan"... again i'm quite sure you have NO idea what that means or where it came from. to do a little educating, in terms i hope you understand... FITP is pretty much a synonym for "one hit wonder" on the radio. that certainly does NOT apply to ABBA. they've been around for damn near half a CENTURY. "mama mia" has been on Broadway for 14 years and i'm sure will be around for at least 14 more. now THIS is probably one of top 10, maybe even top 5, "one hit wonders! This guy was ten times better! |
