Dollar General is way better and cleaner than the Dollar Trees around here I shop at Dollar General around the holidays.They got a lot of money from me last holiday season! |

Seriously?Check the labels sometimes?Lol.I do and have never been disappointed! frozen veggies... sometimes a brand found in real supermarkets... often a better deal at shoprite/acme than $tree. if brand i'm not familiar with, i'd look to see WHERE it came from. china doesn't give a picklechips about their adults, infants or pets when it comes to food safety, so if stuff comes from there, i wouldn't even consider. so you're saying you'll trust china with the food you eat? You do know that most all grocery stores including Walmart and Target sell the same stuff as Dollar Tree?And you refuse to listen at all! |

So what about the local grocery store you go to?I know how uppity you can be! there's a big difference between being "uppity" (which i am not) and you settling for eating crap. you often say you don't have the time to make good food. what has you so occupied? i know the difference between real make syrup and Karo... solid tuna (i prefer in oil) and the stuff you buy at $tree that i wouldn't even feed my cat... butter & margarine... mayo & miracle whip... scratch that... it's really a flavor preference not a quality thing... good ev olive oil and not whatever's cheapest. |
