Good evening, peeps! It's been a weird day weatherwise. Rain, sun, rain while the sun's out, clouds, more rain. Just sitting here watching some cloud to cloud lightning off in the distance. Not even hearing thunder. It's cool at 68o but clammy. More rain is expected tonight and tomorrow.
Well, I finally accomplished the spare room, minus going through some stuff in the closet. Got all the plants repotted, then dusted and vacuumed. What a relief to have it 95% done now. Whew! Just need to clean the bathroom tomorrow. Oh, and a basket of laundry to put away. My back and butt are killing me but it's worth it.
Have an early day of work tomorrow and a full day of it. UGH! Can't wait for my shortened schedule to kick in next month.

Good morning, peeps! Brrrrrrsy boo! I think fall is upon us. Awoke to a temp of 47o.  Not sure if that is a record but dang, it's still August! I'm guessing we're in for an early fall and winter. I'm hoping the stats hang true in that if you have a lot of rain in spring / summer, it'll be a mild winter precipitation-wise. So, hopefully much less snow since we had above-average rainfall.
Finally got the whole house back in order. I have to say, it looks pretty darn good. Now the job is to keep it this way.  I still have some bags to take to the Salvation Army and if I'm honest, I didn't get through the spare room closet yet. That may be a Fall job. (See how I procrastinate  )
Any way, supposed to be a nice day today with no humidity and temps only in the low 70s. Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

 Afternoon all! I hope you are having a great day so far. It is lovely here but pretty warm and humid. Not sure the girls will make their walk later. Neither does heat well and most of the walk there is no shade so we'll see. Finally got all the morning chores doe and am having a big cup of coffee. No plans for the day so that is nice. Tomorrow I have an early doctor appointment so I'll be running. Just Me, send me that cool weather!! Have a great day gang. |

Went to walk the dogs. Got 2/3rds of way and had to turn around. Princess the long haired cat one of them that lives in the garage, followed us the whole way. Nick had to carry her back. We were getting near a busy highway and didn't want her close to it. She was so cute, she walked right along next to the dogs the whole way, talking all the time.

 Afternoon all. Had a Doctor's appointment this morning so finally home. Good news all around but have to go back every 6 months for a check. So busy morning. Now I need to cook for the dogs and do a few things around the house. Have a great day gang! |

 Good morning my friends. I hope you are all having a fantastic day so far. It is hot and humid here and overcast at the moment. We are under a severe heat warning today. So the dogs may not be going on their walks later, we'll see. No plans for the day, decided to make stuffed shells or stuffed Manicotti later so I will need to get my sauce going soon. Then I'll fry some sausage and or ground beef and make the fillings. Also need to cook for the dogs again. I could make a lot and freeze it but I prefer to have it fresh for them. So that's my day.  Afternoon all. Busy morning so just now getting to have coffee. Hubby made grits and they are so good! It is hot and humid here. So humid outside that our windows were fogged up on the outside this morning. Ugh, I want my fall back. Got all the morning chores done, next will be a walk with the dogs if we go. It's so hot out I'm not sure I want them out in it. Have to do a grocery run later as well so I'll be around when I can. Have a great day gang! |

A late start for me today for work and a short day.  A bit chilly start with temps in the upper 50s but a high nearing 90 for the afternoon temp.   Right now we have  .
No plans for after work other than a bit of grocery shopping and home to putter around with chores. For now, sippin my cuppa before getting ready to head out. Hope everyone has a fabulous day!  |
