Biden didn't make the damn deal with the taliban. Trump did. And people asked for trump to be impeached because he broke the law. This disaster was going to happen whoever was pesident. This is on GW Bush, he started the war and instead of working to win this war, he diverted troops to Iraq to get the man who tried to kill his father before his father could kill him. Since when was Biden obligated to follow anything Trump did? ANd so what? Both Trump AND Obama looked at possible ways to leave. Obama wanted to but he listened to the generals and did not withdraw. Same with Trump. But even if Trump had a plan laid out to leave, Biden as the PResident, has the responsibility to evaluate that, look at the world at the time and then decide if that is a Go or No go. He alone has the responsibility in planning how to best execute leaving. Anyone with a brain, (of which his is mush) would first do evacuations of citizens and then remove and/or render equipment to be left behind unusable. Look fuzzems, your side has looked for anything to talk about. The fact is that we have more pressing problems here than how Biden conducted this withdrawal. Yesterday a right wing trump supporter drove up on the library of congress claiming he had a bomb and was going to blow it up if Biden didn't resign and trump not returned to office. Unvaccinated people are dying from the variant, yet we get arguments about how the vaccine isn't working because some right wing hack said some on fox news. Trump created this confusion, and it was trumps mismanagement that left us in this condition while countries with less resources have it under control. Any end to this Afghanistan stuff would have been a mess. Or we could just stay there forever. Biden is not why the Afghan army laid dowm for the taliban who they had outnumbered and out equipped. So let's try living in reality. |
