i found a few new, interesting message board maybe a year or so ago. IMMEDIATELY i was "attacked"... WHO are you? Are you xyz? are you spying for abc board. i think this was about the time Proboards was rolling into town and kinda standardizing stuff. i was soooooo confused,,, HUH?? for while seemed like anytime i went to board, was subjected to that prove you're not robot test and usually had to change something in my logon procedure. i have a friend who is really good at ferreting people out... hey, you/re so&so from xxx board?

I've been on numerous boards for many, many years and there has never been one board that restricted the use of monikers. Most actually encourage changing them and having fun with them around holidays. It depends on what board you are one.Most boards don't like sock puppet sns. |

So true!I was accused of being other posters on that board and another board!lol. |

I've had a few other names over the years as I have moved from AOL chat-rooms to MSN boards to various other boards I found from there. Since moving to TN though, I've always had RichardInTN somewhere on the board though, even if I may have also been known by another name (One reason I may have had multiple names on a board: sometimes boards require separate names for Mod positions, and I was an Admin once which was a whole other name all on its own).
