G is my age
And still resents the fact that Larry went to college
He worked summers at a steel mill to pay his tuition

Too hot and humid, like a tropical rainforest this last week. Today a nice cool 87° lol. It is getting cooler in the mornings now and about 85 right now. |

it's 860 here in the middle of NJ. i'm soooooo ready for fall. in a few weeks (say around 8/21) i predict a day or 2 of fall teaser days. windows wide open at night and almost the need for a light blanket. then, as soon as the kids go back to school (usually right after Labor Day) Indian Summer will roll into town with a vengeance.
i'm so ready for the change of "uniforms". hot weather = capris & a light weight shirt. cold weather = khakis & a big shirt... often a well-worn denim.
