I didn't care for Jill's choice in hose and booties in that black outfit. She's too old to pull off that "look." But there are outfits I like. I think Melania could rock a gunny sack. But she was a model. There were outfits that Michelle wore that I liked. I think there were outfits that most First Ladies wore that I could appreciate. But on the whole, I think I liked more of Melania's clothes than anyone else. Probably because she made them look good. Again, because she was a model and knew how to accentuate her features. So she had the advantage over other First Ladies in that category, IMO. I think hose are classy. I wore black hose to a formal wedding a few years ago. I think I was the only one wearing hose. But I felt they were appropriate for an evening formal wedding. And it was a cold fall day, so it was a smart choice. I am happy that they are not in fashion, particularly in summer. They can be really stifling, but thigh highs allow your body to "breathe" easier. I was hoping Kate Middleton would bring them back but with fashion becoming so casual it was a losing battle I believe. Michelle always looked like she got dressed in the dark!lol!She really needed to fix her hair and wear some decent makeup!She dressed verh dowdy! |
